Basic Setup

• Register the website
      This makes the website appear on the internet.   It has to be done every 1 or 2 years.
  
  
• Display documents, pictures, maps, and videos
      Simply put, if you have something you want on the website, I'll get it on there.
  
  
• Design and display logos
      For your website to really draw attention and make a lasting impression, it is important that the website incorporates a meaningful and memorable logo.   Unless you want something really eccentric, I can custom-design a logo based on your business or website theme.
  
  
• Customize webpage templates, colors, and themes
      Instead of using one of the obviously cookie-cutter website templates, I prefer to customize the look, feel, and color of the website based on what you want the overall theme of the website to be.  If there is not a theme, the website should at least look unique.
  
  
• Create Menu navigation
      To make the website easy to navigate, the menu needs to be obvious and attractive.  This is typically done with simple link buttons or with drop-down-style menus.

• Provide "Contact Me" form for visitors
      It is critical that visitors to your site have a means to contact you.   I can provide a contact form, much like my own, that is customized for your website.
  
  
• Test the website with the most popular internet browsers
      I verify that your site works and is aesthetically correct with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Google Chrome, and Opera, which are the present top 5 internet browsers.
  
  
• Optimize and submit website to top search engines
      To make sure your website has the best visibility it can have on the internet, I will optimize it's content prior to submitting it to the top search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) as well as any relevant local directories.
  
  
• Provide visitor traffic reports
      To keep you informed of the success of your website, I will provide analyzed reports of the visitor traffic.  These reports will show you which parts of your website are popular and which are not.
  
  
• Digital Image Editing
      A byproduct of good website design is the ability to enhance, fix, and create digital images.   If you have a need, even if not website related, contact me about it.

• Show calendar of events
      I can implement a calendar that can include important events for your visitors to keep track of; family birthdays for personal sites or sales events for business sites.
  
  
• Implement a blog
      I can implement a customized blog (your journal entry for others to read) or integrate an existing one onto the website.
  
  
• Provide registration form for visitors
      I can provide an online form for visitors that will allow them to be registered to the website.  This registration can then provide the users with unique access to parts of the website, a means for you to keep in contact with them, and more.
  
  
• Create tool for mass-emailing registered visitors
      I can provide you with an online tool on your website that only you can access that will allow you to mass-email registered users to your website.  The email recipients can be filtered based on user preferences from registration.

      If needed, I can implement online website tools that will allow YOU to edit website content at your convenience.

      At times, it is important to get information from your website visitors.  I can implement customized online surveys for your visitors and have the survey results sent directly to you.

      Database storage of information is very useful for registered user preferences and history as well as product information.  I have a lot of experience using databases for websites.
